A proud Wyoming native from Powell, Dr. McKearney began his educational and training journey at the University of Wyoming, followed by medical school at the University of Washington, orthopedic surgery residency through Michigan State University/Corewell Health, and most recently, fellowship training at the Southern Joint Replacement Institute in Nashville.

Dr. McKearney brings not only outstanding clinical experience, but a deep commitment to expanding access to high-quality orthopedic care in rural communities across our region. His passion for serving Wyoming stems from personal experience.

His vision aligns with a shared goal: ensuring that patients don’t need to leave the state for exceptional care, they should choose to stay because it’s their best option.

Outside the clinic, Dr. McKearney enjoys hiking, backcountry camping, fishing, and archery, activities that helped bring him back to the mountains and lifestyle he loves.
