Doctor Ryan Black is a board-certified Otolaryngology / Facial Plastic Surgeon. He relocated to Gillette from Yakima, Washington where he had been practicing Ear, Nose and Throat surgery for 13 years. Dr. Black grew up in Murray, Utah and graduated from Utah State University. He attended medical school at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in 2004. Subsequently, his Ear, Nose and Throat / Facial Plastic surgery residency was completed at Oklahoma State University in 2009. He is a very conscientious and careful surgeon with his highest priority being the safety of his patients. He is a great listener and makes a conscious effort to pay attention to the health concerns of every patient. Shared medical decisions are important to Dr. Black, thus helping his patients feel empowered in these important medical and surgical choices. He and his wife Janalee have been focused on raising their five children who have all left home. They look forward to spending more time together gardening, skiing and traveling.
